Terms and conditions of sale

Last updated: 15 June 2026 · version 2026.1

This English version is provided for convenience only. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version (« version française ») shall prevail.

These terms and conditions of sale (the “Terms”) govern the sale of the swimming camps offered on stage21.fr by STAGE 21, a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with share capital of €1,000, whose registered office is at 10 rue des Danys, 06110 Le Cannet, France, registered with the Cannes Trade and Companies Register under no. 989 836 564 (the “organiser”). Any order implies prior, express and unreserved acceptance of these Terms via a non-pre-ticked checkbox before payment. The applicable version is the one in force on the order date (version 2026.1).

1. Subject and products

The organiser offers supervised premium swimming camps. Three camps are presented:

  • Provence (adults): booking and payment made directly on stage21.fr.
  • Bordeaux (minors): direct booking and payment, with collection of information about the child and their legal guardian (see article 9).
  • Tahiti: booking and payment for the swimming camp are made directly on stage21.fr. Travel and accommodation remain arranged separately, where relevant with our partner Subt’îles.

2. Prices

Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. VAT at the rate of 20% is included in the displayed prices and itemised on the invoice. The applicable price is the one displayed when the order is confirmed. Any options are added to the base session price.

3. Order and payment

Payment is processed via the secure payment provider Stripe (card, Apple Pay). No card data passes through or is stored on the organiser’s servers. The order is only definitively confirmed once payment has been effectively collected, after which a confirmation e-mail and a paid invoice are sent.

4. Availability and oversell clause

Each session has a limited number of places (21 for Provence). A place is only counted upon payment confirmation. As a result:

If a session becomes full during your payment (competition for the last place), your payment is charged and then automatically refunded in full, and you are added to a priority waiting list. The refund is issued immediately by the organiser; the time for the credit to actually appear on your account depends on your bank (generally 5 to 10 business days). You accept this “charge then refund” mechanism by confirming your order.

5. Cancellation by the customer: schedule

If the customer cancels, the refund is calculated based on the cancellation date relative to the session start date (Europe/Paris time zone):

Cancellation dateAmount refunded
60 days or more before start (D-60)100%
From D-59 to D-3180%
From D-30 to D-1450%
Less than 14 days before start (< D-14)0%

Cancellation requests must be sent by e-mail to contact@stage21.fr. The date used is the date the request is received.

6. Cancellation by the organiser

If the organiser cancels (weather, unavailability of a coach, insufficient numbers, force majeure, etc.), the customer is refunded in full (100%), with no further compensation. The organiser will endeavour to inform the customer as soon as possible.

7. Options

  • Options charged at order time: shuttle (+€50), premium room (+€200), subject to availability.
  • “On request” options (e.g. early arrival): conditional, confirmed and invoiced separately after acceptance by the organiser, and subject to the cancellation schedule in article 5.

8. Waiting list

Joining the waiting list is not a firm booking. A place only becomes a booking after effective payment. When a place becomes available, the first person on the waiting list is notified and has a limited time (priority purchase token) to confirm payment, failing which the place is offered to the next person.

9. Camps for minors (Bordeaux)

For camps welcoming minors, the buyer declares that they are the child’s legal guardian, of legal age and holder of parental authority. The order includes an explicit parental authorisation and the collection of information needed for supervision (swim level, allergies / care plan, emergency contact). Health data is processed securely, in isolation, and kept for a limited period (see the privacy policy). Consent to use of image is collected separately and is optional.

10. Right of withdrawal

Under Article L221-28 5° of the French Consumer Code, leisure services supplied on a specific date or for a specific period do not benefit from the 14-day right of withdrawal. Our camps, scheduled on specific dates, fall under this exception: the right of withdrawal does not apply, and any cancellation is governed by the schedule in article 5. If a camp falls under the French Tourism Code regime (package travel), the cancellation rules specific to that regime apply.

11. Liability and force majeure

The organiser cannot be held liable for non-performance due to force majeure or to an unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party. Participation requires a physical condition compatible with swimming; the organiser may request a medical certificate where appropriate.

12. Complaints, governing law and disputes

Any complaint may be sent to contact@stage21.fr. These Terms are governed by French law. Before any legal action, consumer customers may use the consumer mediator indicated in the legal notice. Failing an amicable resolution, the French courts have jurisdiction under the conditions provided by law.
